I came here for my brother birthday back in April. For many of family members it was the 1st & last time we'll ever go to Gengys. The parking is crap. When we got there it took them forever to realise they had booked us in under a different name. The line was so long that from the time we first stood in line to the time we sat down with our food it took about 45 - 50 minutes. The food is ok, nice selection but the weird smell in there made you not even want to eat the food. And just to top it all off, there was a 21st upstairs so there was ALOT of loitering around the door way & as we were leaving we got questioned by the police who were wanting to know if we had seen the fight (guests of the 21st).Over all it was a very poor night. If I could give half a star I would.

Gengys has great buffet styled food which is cooked in front of you while you wait. It's also a nice place to eat if your planning a large gathering. There's also outdoor seating aswell and a large pool. I havn't been in the pool before but it looks fine. Awesome place!

An ok buffet restaurant - a good place to go if you have a coupon from a supermarket receipt. When I went it smelled a bit of stale oil. For Mongolian barbeque Genghis Khan is Takapuna is better.

A great family restaurant. They have a wide variety of fresh meats, that you serve raw, add veges, oils, nuts and take it to be cooked before your eyes! Excellent! Within a matter of minutes the meals is tasty, hot and delish! Grab some salad, rice, chips whatever and sit down to a wonderful meal. For desert, enjoy large pancakes cooked before you, and add your own choice of ice-creams and sauces! The atmosphere is very warm. I give a 5 out of 5!
