We are from Wellington and it is great to see Hamish moving up north, having such a successful, fantastic place. Any sports fan will love Fox's Ale House. huge screens and indoor/outdoor space. highly recommend it to anyone who loves sport and great pub food. lotsa love, Rach

Being a football fan I was stoked to see Fox's makes a point of supporting our hunger for the game. This was evident with the memorabilia especially if your a Liverpool fan which I'm not. However this was not a problem as I was wearing my Spurs shirt I got these huge glass jugs for $15 instead of $20! Seems they want to support atmosphere so they want everyone in team gear. Makes sense. My wife was happy with the wine list too and enjoyed a well made Mojito. I'll be back for all sports games as Fox's Alehouse is an excellent sports pub!
I've been in for lunch to watch a replay and the food is top notch pub food too. Great pub, love it

I find foxs a top spot when looking for a publike atmosphere amongst all the viduct bars. Seen a few high profile AB's hidden in there too, keep that quiet tho- its a good ratio!!

It's a sports pub, which is probably not my first choice for a night out, but that said - Fox's Ale House isn't too bad.

Wine list is ok, plenty of seating (we managed to get a booth) - and though a magnet for rugby-heads, Fox's Ale House lacked the cliched boys-on-booze bear-guzzling ambiance ... and that's a good thing!
