Barbara Palmer has a very high opinion of herself, however she is only about the same height as a maggot.....expensive, crap selection and foul mouthed owner.
I made a couple of visits to the Food Embassy over the last few days. The coffee is really good and strong and the service excellent. Not much counter food to choose from, but the eggs benedict was delicious. Nice modern space with lots of room, papers to read while you relax. I'll certainly visit Food Embassy on my next trip to Waiheke.
Great coffee and exceptionally friendly folk - only down side was the lack of deli food (or menu). All the same, if you like your Allpress coffee (done well), the food embassy in Waiheke is certainly recommended. The Food embassy also has a text a coffee promo if you're in a rush.
