Dos Amigos was perfection.My partner and I cycled to Mission Bay and had to stop to eat there.We propped our bikes up outside which wasn't an issue.The food was great..the best quesadila I have had...and we have been to El Paso and Mexico! The staff were excellent.I think we were served by an owner and he really knows what customer service is...and should be!He recommended a margarita which my partner had and I had the tecate. The only thing missing from that was a wedge of lime.Highly recommend this restaurant.Authentic food and excellent service...what else could you ask for?AAA+++

My partner and I stumbled across Dos Amigos Cantina whilst wandering around. We timed it right to be in before 4pm to be able to take advantage of their awesome early deals! We shared the beef nacho's and we we're very impressed. We expected mince but were surprised with pulled beef which was beyond delicious. The homemade corn chips, salsa and guacamole just topped it all off. I have already recommended the place to my friends and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Dos Amigos is the best mexican restaurant in Auckland. I live too far away to visit as often as I'd like but every time the experience has been great. The first time I experienced the place was in the summer & I wanted to eat on the beach. I walked passed & a staff member was outside in the sun with the lizards on his shoulder(i'm presumming it was the owner). I explained that I felt like eating (something healthy than fish & chips) on the beach & he said they were trying out wraps for a lunch menu & the Chef made me up two to takeaway. I've been to Dos Amigos several times since & its always the same great food, great service & great atmosphere.

Had a great lunch at Dos Amigos this past weekend. The prices are decent, especially for Mission Bay, and the food portions are generous. We really enjoyed the quasedillas and chilli con carne, the tank with bearded lizards and bilingual staff really added to the authentic Mexican experience.
