Have just been to Don Don Rikka for lunch, and was so impressed that I had to come back and search for a site to write a review.

I went with my partner and we each had a set lunch box at just under $12 each which came with our choice of meat in a bowl on rice, miso soup, small salad, and a piece of beef cutlet on a skewer.

I had the Beef Cutlet set lunch, and my partner had the Fried Chicken set. The meat was cooked to absolute perfection, the rice and small salad were delicious and the presentation was simple yet effective.

I had a glass of Japanese Plum Wine which was was served in a large wine glass with ice, it was superb, I recommend trying Plum Wine with your next Japanese meal. My partner had a Japanese Malt Beer which was equally good.

The set lunches also included a small piece of Green Tea Tiramasu which was served after we had finished out meals.

Overall excellent service and excellent food! Lunch and a drink for 2 came to just under $40.
