My son and I went to Didas Takapuna Sunday morning. Having had wonderful tapas at Didas Ponsonby I had been looking forward to going here. It was very busy but I noticed one table looked free. I said to the lady working there. Hi Is that table free? She glanced at it and said Is there anyone sitting there with a solemn face. I said no and she said then its free with no enthusiasm. Then someone else walked up to it. We were on our way out anyway and will never return there. Extremely rude, inhospitable service. Went to Belgium Bar and had service with a smile.
I called in here on the way past and had french toast with raspberries and apple syrup, sat out the front, very nice, Coffee turned up smartly. Thanks Didas takapuna, I'll try one of the other places as well ponsonby, victoria park or maybe devonport if I ever down that way.
