We've told everyone about the wonderful Italian restaurant we found in Auckland. We would have liked to take some of the good food home with up. DaVinci made our visits to Auckland a pleasure.

Personal favourite of mine, definitely would recommend.
Have been for many years and each time I go, I can't wait to come back. The staff are lovely and so helpful. I was on a special diet and they kindly Tailored my meal for me.
The food is so beautiful and have a great variety of lovely wines and beers to choose from.
If you are after a lovely romantic night out go for Da Vincis.
Also parking available which is such a bonus in the city.
My husband and I and another couple went to Da Vinci's on saturday night and it was actually a very pleasant experience. The surroundings were beautiful with dim light which made for a great atmosphere. The service was very friendly and prompt and they had an extensive wine selection. We ordered the pizza bread for starters, king prawn pizza and carbonara for mains with a side salad. The meal was great with the carbonara as a highlight. I would recommend for good italian in the city.
We turned up about 15minutes late which I'm not excusing is fair to the staff however our waitress was quite rude and we felt pressured to choose what we wanted as soon as we got there, not very relaxing. However, the food was enjoyed by all, a little over-priced but enjoyable at Da Vinci's.
Lovely venue although parking can be a problem. Went here on a very strong recommendation of a friend. The service was ok, but nothing special. The bar is very cool with embedded recylced class and this popular restaurant had a nice ambience. My friend had the chicken (which was delicious and another diner ecame over and asked what is was a they liked the look of it. The seafood pasta was also a bit hit with my other friend. I thought I made a safe choice with canneloni, but it was very disappointing. The meat tasted awful and it had far too much mozarella (very over powering) but the tomato sauce saved if. For 2 of us it was a hit, but for me I was very disappointed that a traditional Italian dish was done so poorly after the hype this restaurant had received. I would go back to try something else though in case it was a bad day...
My partner and i went to Da Vinci's for our anniversary. We were hoping for a romantic dinner, but unfortunately, were disappointed. We were seated in the lower section and could hear very clearly the loud swearing of the chef to the waitresses. It was in a playful manner but when you want a nice dinner with your partner, you dont really want to hear full on swearing and how the chef is going to smack the waitresses for being naughty. The food was only average, nothing too outstanding. Our experience was not all bad though. The waitress was friendly, and was kind enough to give us free drinks because she forgot to bring them to us!
We hired Da Vinci's Restaurant out for our wedding reception in April 2005. The setting was perfect and intimate for our 50 guests and the kids were able to run around outside in the courtyard. The food was superb with guests being able to choose from a wide selection and everyone couldn't believe that they got a delicious Da Vinci steak cooked to their requirements at a wedding function!
There was such a nice atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We have of course been back on numurous occasions since and it is special to go back to a place which has such fond memories and enjoy a great night out reminiscing. Highly recommended!
