The food was amazing. Better than I thought it would be for pub food. It's a great place to have beer with your mates! Maybe the service could have been slightly faster but other than that the servers were relatively friendly!

Very Good Food. I had a plate of Nachos which was great. The time we had to wait was not the best but understandable because it was busy. The waiters were very informative and helpful with food selection. I would highly recommend that if you would like to go to a nice restaurant in a nice atmosphere then this would be a good choice.

Although we were initially served promptly by the bar staff, it was a relatively quite Wednesday evening and it was all down hill from there. To deliver our meals, the waitresses litereally dumped them on the table. One comment from our party was that they may as well have flung them directly from the kitchen. All of the steaks were of very poor quality and poorly cooked. The eggs with the steak & eggs had been in the oven/ under lights so long that they had turned to rubber. The salad was made with lettuce that was no more than a few mank bits of iceburg. And the waiting staff's service did not improve. Only one from our party ordered desert and our waitress couldn't be bothered to walk around the table to place it in front of her but instead dumped it down at the other end of the table to be passed along by everyone else. All in all, very disappointed. Upon leaving, my comment was that I'd only be returning for a beer and wedges next time I'm hungover.

Great food, very yummy and large variety. If you suspect it might be busy I'd definately book though, gets quite full. I go here frequently, as the food is great and cool atmosphere, though at times rude inattentive staff. Overall great though.

Cock & Bull is great for a pub lunch ... have tried most dishes and all are scrummy with just the right amount of english decor!
