AVOID! Just went to Car-fe Takapuna today - $50 New Car clean was bought.
- Hand Wash & Wax........still dirty and smearsall over car - roof filthy.
- Rinse Wheels.....was not done, only oiled to cover dirt.
- Vacuum......partially done in front
- Dash Air cleaned...Not done at all!
- Windows Inside/Out...more streaky than it went in!
- Door Frames...Done with dirty cloth so now all smeared.
- Tyres Dressed....oiled badly
- Towel Dry.....smeared!
Spoke with owner about what I paid for and what was done - however he was rude, would not listen and constantly talked over me in an aggressive manner.
My experience with Car-Fe' shows that on this occasion it was false advertising.
Have taken photos of just how badly it was done and will be putting in our company newsletter.
Efficient and thorough service, friendly staff and great coffee. Would highly recommend to anyone who prefers a job well done by hand. The crew washing the cars look like the enjoy their job which we all know produces a better result. Cafe food has good variety with a bit of sweet and savory. Coffee is as good as any high st cafe. Overall an enjoyable time out and a very clean car.
I go to Car-fe in Greenlane on a regular basis and it's a top class business. The service is great and the food is awesome. I think they must have done a complete overhaul in that department recently - I used to come years ago and it was horrible bought in food, now it's all amazing cabinet food and baking made on-site. I would highly recommend this as a place to grab lunch while getting your car washed.
The only thing that could save this place is a group of topless models body washing your windows. someone should let them know..?
I have recently found Car-fe and its awesome! Certainly the best carwash i have been to. Awesome service, homemade baking great muffins and Matthew Ridge served me! Highly recommended if you desire a nice enviroment with a top class wash.
The food is terrible and the service awful
Car Fe is the worst place I have ever eaten at!!!
The service is slow, the food was under cooked, the coffee was not hot enough, the people washing the cars were too noisy, and I had my wallet stoeln out of my car. They did the worst cleaning job on my car.
I will not be coming back, and I urge you to turn your back on this organisation.
