Been back to Cafe Melba 2 times in the last 3 days, today for brunch, eggs bene, super quick service even through they were completely full, wow.
There are a few places I go to for coffee in Takapuna, but I often choose Melba for a takeaway because it is so central. It is an easy walk from the park or the beach, the coffee is consistently very good and the staff are very friendly.
Haven't been to Cafe Melba in Takapuna for a while but it always turns out well. I needed a takeaway coffee on the way past heading to the playground with my 6 yr old. They were absolutely packed, no seats left and very busy however my coffee took no more than 3 minutes to arrive. Plus it tasted fantastic. Very friendly welcoming place.
Dropped into Cafe Melba yesterday with a friend, they looked after us very well, service was quick even though they were busy. Great coffee, food looked great, must come back for brunch soon.
Great service - great food! All the staff were very friendly and actually smiling!!
It was very obvious the regulars are well looked after as well as the new customers!
Highly recommend Cafe Melba, Takapuna for a bit to eat!
