A group of us went there for dinner on Saturday. Nice Italian decor and the waitress greeted us with a smile. Sadly though it took 2 hours before she even took our order! We sat their waiting and watching her serve others (it was too busy for one waitress to handle..that was obvious) and then wonder what to do next. Once we did get our food it was nice enough. I ordered tortenelli filled with chicken but ended up with ricotta cheese and a couple of pieces of chicken on the plate instead. But it was good enough. Sadly it also took 3 requests to have our bill brought to the table. That didnt work so we ended up having to go to the counter and wait for it to be totalled. The downside to this experience (and the reason I only gave 3 stars) was the rudeness and arrogance of the chef. When we asked about the bill he said "its coming" then procceded to stand around, then blamed the waitress for the slowness due to her "boyfriend leaving her". If that wasnt enough he then decided to insult the waitress numerous times right in front of customers!! I told him he was mean but he obviously didnt care as he just laughed. That kind of arrogance is unacceptable. Needless to say we wont be going back there.

Great little Italian restaurant. The Garlic & Olive breads are absolutely devine, probably the best I have had. The Calamari (comes in either entree or main) is right up there with the best I have had. You could literally pull the Calamari apart with your fingers. We have been to this restaurant a number of times and tried a number of the dishes on the menu, all very well presented and thoroughly enjoyabe.
Sure they cram you in but hey, that's an Italian restaurant. They also accept BYO wine.

Food was very good but the owner certainly packs us in like sardines! Not a lot of room between tables for the patrons or the wait staff. Also did not appreciate the bill being put on the table as we began our desserts - pretty obvious he wanted us out for another sitting - people standing behind us waiting for our table also "gave it away"! Shame as it spoilt our night out -won't return again even though the food was great.

I feel that Cafe Latte is being dishonest. They tell you a big long list of specials without telling you the prices. They also list some of the specials on a blackboard without any prices and then wallop you with a very expensive price tag. The first time I went the veal on the specials turned out to be approx $10 more expensive than a similar veal dish on the menu taking the poor unsuspecting customer by surprise and tonight when I went I had the for-thought to ask how much the starter of 8 cooked oysters on the specials menu cost. All other starters were $14.50 and for the eight oysters it was $28.50(as expensive as the main dishers). This information was not volunteered to me, I had to ask which the unsuspecting first time customer would not necessarily think to do.
The first time I went with a large group of people we were also astounded how much two platters of bread cost us. I checked tonight on the menu and there was no price advertised for mixed platters on bread so feel this was also misleading. The food at Cafe Latte Italian Restaurant is very good though.

Cafe Latee Italian Restaurant is probably the best Italian restaurant I've ever been too. My partner and I have only been there a handful of times but every time we return, it's like they've known us all our lives and get treated like royalty. I've seen Ciro be tough, but he makes a hell of a dish. Molto GOOD!

The food is absolutely delicious. I have been many times and have never been disappointed. You do have to wait a while for your food, but it is well worth it and the atmosphere is excellent. Highly recommend.
