CAC bar and eatery is a fantastic place for an intimate dinner for two or a meal out with friends. The staff were really friendly & the service was super quick. We had the risotto balls which were delicious & also meatballs & the venison. I couldn't fault the food at all & there was plenty of it. An excellent choice of drinks too! Would highly recommend a visit to this awesome bar!!
A massive group of us visited CAC Bar and Eatery for an engagement party. We started off upstairs and had a selection of the tapas - can highly recommend the shaved prosciuto and Rissoto balls. The service was friendly and efficient. After we had eaten we went downstairs for drinks. Upstairs CAC Bar is a great venue to hire out as its on a mezzanine floor so you have privacy but still can enjoy the atmosphere.
Food was delicious but unfortunately 23 squashed on one table! Also not enough plates of food as quite a few savoury dishes and also dessert dishes were not tried by the customers on the table and when asked for more it never arrived. A disappointing evening.
This place is great, my partner and I went there for a 'date night' recently. We sat upstairs in the loft area, very cute! We could look down at all the people in the bar below which was very entertaining.
The food was lovely - I highly recommend the Risoto & Cheese Balls - amazing!
Service & value was good also.
The old building and history are a nice touch.
Great atmosphere, food was quite tasty.
Brilliant selection of cocktails that are different from the norm.
It was let down on service, but the owner (I think) was there to clean up the pieces.
I recetly visited CAC and it was fantastic!! The atmosphere was great, lots of people having a great time and a very good live band. The food was amazing too and the wine list thoroughtly impressed me... I will be returning to CAC Bar & Eatery without doubt!
I have been to CAC Bar & Eatery on several occussions, and have found every time the food to be divine; the staff attentive and friendly, but not in your face.
This is a place where you can have a quiet drink, or a large group dinner and the service will be just as good for either. I highly recommend it.
A brilliant venue, but unfortunately let down by some very average tables and chairs - sounds silly I guess, but you really notice it.
The tapas type food is a little above average in price and was only okay: one of our dishes was burnt and we thought the meatballs were underdone ... maybe it was just us ??
Anyway, if it was just done a little better we would probably go back.
