Great new place for brunch/lunch. A few more interesting dishes on the menu such as Kedgeree, and great grilled "jucy" hapuka, the field mushrooms with herbs and manchego cheese - delicious.
Excellent coffee and great service. It is now our regular.
I'm sure you will even busier when the rest of the Vic Park Market opens up.
Buttermilk Café is my favourite breakfast venue in Auckland. The French Brioche is to die for! The crispy bacon devine and the coffee is 10 out of 10........ A must try....
This cafe is awesome. Nice ambiance, indoor and outdoor sittings, great coffee, many magazines to read, great hospitality, variety of food. everything is soo perfect. I recommend everyone to visit Buttermilk cafe at least once, you gonna fall in love. :)
Had a breakfast meeting this morning in the Victoria Park area so my colleague suggested we try out Buttermilk Cafe.
First thing that struck me was the huge amount of options - literally something for everyone.
I opted for the poached eggs which were done to perfection (its actually surprising how many cafes stuff this dish up) and some good coffee (actually a few).
Keen to try Buttermilk Cafe again at a more leisurely pace and without the distraction of work.
