The food was fantastic, smoked salmon, carved steak, pork, salads etc although I prefer my potatoes hot not cold in a salad. The occasion was a wedding, the staff were efficient and professional, the setting is amazing. It was a bit windy so we all stayed inside but I can see on a nice day how you would sit on the new deck under shade and it would be an amazing experience. I recommend Bridge House Restaurant to everyone.
Brilliant Melbourne Cup event between Bridge House and Times fm radio station. Lots of people and a fun time. Free nibbles and not just chippies, but nicely presented finger food including fresh oysters,, yum yum.
1 bar staffer looked like she had sucked a lemon before starting work, but that was the only bad point. As it was Tuesday the quiz nite followed, which was something different and fun also (some take seriously as the major prize is worth taking it seriously.) The steak was not one of the best, chips get a 10 but tasty and enjoyable overall.
We decided to go to the Bridge House Lodge Bar & Restaurant for dinner on Saturday night, as we were staying at Snells Beach. We thought we'd drive into Warkworth because it had been recommended to us by a friend.
When we arrived, the restaurant area was in full swing and we were promptly shown to a good table. There was lots of great hearty food to choose from, which is just what we felt like. The servings were all really generous sizes, delicious and well presented.
The service was great, the waiters were really attentive and looked after us well. I would definitely go again, and will be recommending the Bridge House to anyone else that is in the Warkworth area around dinner time.
