After much anticipation some friends and I lunched at Bracu recently and we were all so disappointing. Yes the setting was lovely on a sunny day , but the food left much to be desired. There really was nothing on the Menu to tempt us, and the deserts were lack lustre unless you like ice cream!! The service was O K , just...please teach your wait staff to bring hot water with a short black coffee, standard in the most basic of coffee shops. Your main courses were very ordinary, except for the price!! Really Bracu, $30 for a duck dish that was SO ordinary, and appeared to be served with tinned beetroot!!. Just not good enough for the prices you charge, needless to say we will not be back.

I would have to say that i was impressed with the professionalism and neatly laid out interior of this establishment. NOt necessarily the decor I would have but it fit perfectly for what it is...a lovely restaurant on an olive grove. It's lovely location and fine attention to detail make this place lovely. The food was excellent and the staff were pleasant and professional without being snobbish. We had a lovely day as it was a family members b-day and we truly all enjoyed the drive out to this fine establishment.

I loved Bracu. I didn't really know what to expect, and I had my socks knocked off. The food was fabulous, the staff attentive and efficient and the atmosphere was warm and humming. I just need to get a group together for my next visit which will be in the Library.

I have always found Bracu to be an asset to the Franklin district with great food and exceptional service. Unfortunately on our last visit the service was extremely lacking and the whole Bracu experience lost some of its lustre. Maybe we just struck them on a bad night but waitstaff (2) who were not overly extended and gave the impression they would rather be someplace else, especially when they started packing up the restuarant while we were still seated at 9pm.

I had the table in the kitchen for a family birthday celebration. Absolutely superb although have not been back since Peter was the head chef. Wonderful experience and well worth that bit exta for a memorable evening. Food was divine, and the service was second to none.

What can I say? Fabulous food and fabulous service. Have only been to Bracu Restaurant for dinner, but am looking forward to making a lunch trip there as I'm sure the scenery would be beautiful.
