The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly and food was timely.
However they do not cater for those with food allergies very well at all.
I chose the Jumbalya and was told there was cream in it, so my second choice was a Thai curry, which traditionally is diary free, they put cream in it. In fact there was nothing on offer that didn’t have either dairy or gluten already made into it. So I was offered a BLT with gluten free bread. I paid my $16 and was gob smacked at how tiny my sandwich was for the exorbitant price! Not to mention how hungry I was! This was not cool. They need to realise that there are a lot of people unable to eat gluten or dairy and small sorry bunch like myself afflicted with both!

The cafe at Auckland's botanical gardens looks great - but the 30 min wait to be seated wasn't an option for us. With all that lovely space outside, you would think they would be able to serve a bit faster.

I love going here to catch up with friends, lovely brownies and coffee. Surroundings are nice being at the gardens, especially on a fine day, you can sit outside, very child friendly.

Great food and great wine. It's really nice to sit in the gardens and have a gormet sandwhich. Good to take the kids too as they have the gardens to cause havoc in! Top rating here.
