Dropped in after the movies last night, Bolero, perfect, staff, perfect, friendly, chatty, professional, atmosphere, warm, not too loud not too quiet, wine, great. Well done.
Dropped into Bolero for brunch Sunday, must say it was very pleasant. Sun was shining, staff friendly, Westfield Albany wasn't that busy overall, had eggs benedict, when is someone going to realise that adding spinach makes it eggs florentine and bacon + tomato makes it eggs blackstone - NOT ALL LUMPED TOGETHER ON THE ONE PLATE, GRRRRRRRR!!!Anyway, calm now, nice coffee, had 2, must mention Massimo across the courtyard, they had a lovely woman playing piano accordion which I could hear perfectly, nice touch.
Dropped into Bolero after watching Thor at the Albany Event cinema. Three pieces of advice for you - firstly the best thing to accompany your tapas is a bottle of the Rioja, secondly don't watch Thor, and thirdly don't watch Thor. (The second point was so valid I said it was worth repeating!)
Headed to Bolero on the outside of the Albany Mall with friends last night and had a really great time - the tapas was authentic and tasty whilst my wife's pasta dish was top notch. Definitely recommended.
Popped in for desert after the movies - and as per usual great service & lovely food!! Must try the churro....
The work crew dined at Bolero last week and had a really great experience. A few of the lads are porkers (in a nice way) and were pretty impressed by the size of the Steak that they got their hands on.
I went for a few of the tapas options - very mourish (sp) and a good chance to try a variety of food without being too full (or too much in debt!).
To top things off - they brought around churros...it's worth a visit to Bolero for the churros alone!
Looking forward to my next visit!
Great Tapas, all very authentic, fast and efficient service, enjoyed sitting out in the sun people watching. My only complaint would be no Spanish beer on tap, or even on the drinks menu - they only has Stella! Where's the San Miguel???
Top marks all round:Very tasty food with great variety of flavours, nice ambience, prompt service and fantastic staff! I had the misfortune to experience a health issue whilst dining and the Manager assisted by an employee immediately responded with great advice and assistance with the minimum of fuss and pure professionalism. I work in an industry where I often entertain guests and although I live on the Gold Coast I would absolutely recommend this venue for a function or business meeting! Top marks, I look forward to returning on my next visit.
