Sadly the Bodrum cafe has now moved to Symond St (Royal Oak) leaving behind everything that made it a worthwhile destination. There was no ambiance at all. The food was disappointing. Greek salad & French creme brulee were hardly what we were expecting on the menu of a turkish restaurant.
Did not feel at all authentic and we will not be back!
Recently dined at Bodrum, staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was great middle eastern, absolutely loved the turkish delight and baklava for dessert. Will definately be returning.
Fancy a bit of belly dancing? Not to do but to watch?! Bodrums cafe in Newmarket not only provides delicious middle eastern cuisine it also provides entertainment...middle eastern style!
A fun place to go for a work do or just out with a bunch of friends.
The food is plentiful and tasty, with a number of vegetarian options. The wine list is one-dimensional, but adequate to foster the appropriate level of conviviality.
On a Friday night, the atmosphere wasn't lively, but the staff were pleasant and the round tables conducive to conversation.
Cheap & cheerful, and a good feed. I'll definitely go back again.
