consistently good coffee and friendly staff - even on a cold day it's well worth sitting under the awnings at Bambina and people watching - such a good Ponsonby pastime!
Had lunch at Bambina in Ponsonby yesterday. Like the large communal table concept - the outdoor tables are far too cramped for my liking. Coffee is good and a good selection of counter food. Service was also pretty good today - good sorts!
First week back at work and a trip to Bambina was one the cards - if only the rest of the year could be this relaxed!!!Always good coffee and nibbles - a bit cramped perhaps (especially on the streetside seating) but because it is consistently good, Bambina is my go-to Ponsonby cafe option.
Met some clients at Bambina during the week having not been there for ages. Only had the coffee, but the food looked grand. Certainly well patroned, hard to fault Bambina really (although - we were asked a total of three times if any of our group wanted some food...we were there only 20 mins or so so it wasnt like we were taking up the space!)
Bambina rates highly as a nice, friendly Ponsonby cafe. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the staff are good value. Bambina is good for lunch or just a quick coffee and muffin.
Exquisite pear, broad bean and parmesan salad. Heavenly combination i'd never had thought of myself. Devine!
Bambina is a fantastic cafe with fast and friendly service. Food is always fresh and delicious, there is a great magazine selection too - what more could you want!
