In North Shore City dogs can be exercised unleashed, but under the owner's control, in all parks, reserves, beach and foreshores, except during daylight saving when dogs are prohibited from beaches and foreshore areas between the hours of 10.00 and 18.30.
Dogs are prohibited from children's playgrounds and sports grounds at all times.
