Baduzzi will open it's doors later this month in the New ASB Building along the North Wharf. Michael Dearth from The Grove is behind this venture - an Italian inspired restaurant with a special focus on meatballs!

Enjoyed a five-star experience at Baduzzi during the week before Christmas, with both the food and the service outstanding. I was impressed from the moment we stood outside the door, as it was lunchtime and I had half expected our party of 6 to be turned down. Instead, the host greeted me warmly as soon as we got there, and offered to find us a table straight away. It seemed like it would not be a problem at all, which is often NOT the feeling you get when entering a busy eatery in Auckland. We chose a number of dishes to share among the group, and each one was delicious and beautifully presented. The surroundings are also gorgeous, as is the cutlery, crockery etc. The delight is in the details at Baduzzi - a great place to go for something a bit special.

We took a large group of Australians and to the restaurant and were hoping to impress with a great example of the best the North Wharf has to offer and we weren't disappointed. We samples a large selection of entrees off the menu which were shared and can highly recommend their amazing meatballs including the crayfish ones. The stuffed zucchini flowers were also popular. Many selected large sharing steaks for the main which did not disappoint and the vegetarian options were equally delicious. The meal was also paired with lovely wines. Not cheap but lovely quality. Highly knowledgeable staff who went the extra mile to check everything when one of the party said they could not eat nuts. A great night out in a great location

Just had delicious light lunch at Baduzzi. Soup, salad, wagyu meatballs and a glass of chilled white wine, sitting outside in the glorious spring sunshine. The place ticks all the boxes : amazing, fresh food,great service, perfect portions, excellent coffee, great decor .
I will be back!
