Not a pleasant dining experience, and not dissimilar to a production line. We were rushed through our courses (they arrived in unbelievably quick time, as though already prepared and waiting for the microwave - now there's a thought!). Nothing special about the dishes at Annabelles Restaurant, if anything they were over-cooked and the S&P Calamari was particularly bland. Service was over-attentive, with our glasses never getting below one third empty. Whilst a beach side restaurant Annabelles Restaurant prices are still around the CBD level. So I do not expect to be greeted as "mate" and "you guys". James.
Nice cosy restaurant for dinner. Service was good - we were greeted and seat promptly. But were seated at a table with a pole right next to a table with a pole right next to it which was quite obstructive. Nevertheless, the waitress was knowledge about the wine and recommended what would be a good match with our food – we ended up ordering a bottle. Food was served in good time, decent sized portions, good food, nothing outstanding but nothing to really complain about either. Ambience was nice, Annabelles Restaurant is a good place to go to in the winter.
Wonderful memories created, my first date with boyfriend, my daughters 21st lunch. Delicious seafood.
Dined at Annabelles Restaurant with husband and brother - took some time to get menus - then was asked if wanted breads - decided on bread & dips - waited 10 mins, asked again did want breads - and finally garlic bread was plonked down! Waiter surly and hard to get to take orders etc. Wine by the glass had dregs of bottle in the bottom - and was told yes that was usual. Vegetables were barely cooked, and steak very well done, not medium. After listening to the waiter demanding to be able to go home and owner reprimanding him, we left. Not a good experience.
