Once you've found a park, head in to the Angus Steak House. As a restaurant? Well, the name says it all... This place keeps it simple, and does it well.If you're after a hearty meal, or a fun dining experience - I came here with family - it can be a good night out. It's not fine dining but the steaks are big, the places feels 'right' and the staff are great.
The venue for this restaurant is a vast improvement on it's previous location, although it can get crampt at busy times due to the long slim outlineof the place. This is trully a restaurant for meat lovers - the steaks were the best the 3 or us had ever had, and while this isn't anything close to fine dining, the queues and hussle bustle add the atmosphere and ambience. The staff were well presented, attentive and very professional. The service was infallible. This is incredible value for one of the best steak houses around.
I love the new restaurant and it's location in Fort Lane. The Angus looks like a New York steak house but the meat is even better. you still go up and choose your steak and take it the chef to be cooked and then choose your salad, but the atmosphere is even better than Albert St...Well done!!! We'll come again
This restaurant is funny because 50% of people like it and 50% of people absolutely hate it. I really liked Angus Steak House because you get toast as soon you sat at the table. Then there is a salad bar you can eat as much as you want. ( sooo many salads and beans, pasta) and then you can choose your own meat (chicken, beef, pork etc.) They cook it for you; it takes time if you are after fast eating I wouldn't really recommend this place.
The service was really friendly and the food was tooo much so i couldn't finished (im big eater)
Angus Steak House has the biggest steaks in Auckland. Friendly service. Value for money. Only negative comment is the lack of parking.
