Free venue hire, as long as we did the food through them.
Food was basic, yet tasty - exactly what we asked for

Dropped in with the mates on Friday night, cool, they had a band, rocking it, didn't stay too long but we'll come back as there's not really many other live music bars up this far on the North Shore.

Sunday Roasts are primo!! Head down here with the whole family from time to time and we love it!!!

Good bar to catch up with mates!! We always head to Albany Sports Bar before a Harbour Home game!

Went to this place on Sunday exclusively for the advertising $16.90 per head roast dinner with free glass of wine/beer for adults, and kids dine free – as advertised in the North Shore Times, and also on the huge sign outside the door.

Got inside, and was told by the waiter, that kids only dine free when you order off their normal menu, and that if we ordered the Sunday roast, the kids would be charged at $1 per year of age.

We questioned this, pointing out what we'd read in the advertising in the North Shore Times, and also on their sign outdoors. He said we were misinformed and reading their sign incorrectly.

We left without eating.

I took a photo of the sign, and no one else though we misunderstood their sign. We will be forwarding the pic to Sideswipe (NZHerald) and also Fair Go, to see what they think.

Waiter didn't seem to care less! Not good PR nor customer service.

Really loved the food and was suprised to hear the type of music, however was refreshingly new!

Bloody great steak sammy. Need to do something about the music though!? whats with this new techno crap??
