Always a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and the dishes delightful. A Little Italy is a favourite.

This restaurant has been around for a long time...my wife and I used to go there a lot when we were dating and still studying at Auckland University...it's just a handy walk down the hill.

We always went back for the seafood bake dish, which is a delicious, and loved the gelato as well. Great atmosphere with genuine friendly service. The last time we were there was indeed a while ago...I took my wife there as a surprise on a recent wedding anniversary to re-live old times....and it hadn't lost any of its old charm or quality in the food...but maybe we were viewing it with rose-tinted glasses given the occasion....

I recommend trying it out if you feel like Italian, and especially if you like seafood.

A Little Italy is a great place and they treated my children like royalty.
The coffee was the best I have ever had and I have had coffee in the states which was the best I had ever had until I had theirs.
Lovely people and a great atmosphere.
A Little Italy - keep it going.

Be sure to book ahead of time as A Little Italy is a very busy and little restaurant, but well worth the visit. The food and service were fantastic! Great Chianti too!
