Fantastic restaurant! Work dinner, and the food and service was fabulous. They couldn't do enough for you and you were never kept waiting long for yr food and plates etc cleared away immediately once finished. Is a little place, and space is not big but is intimate and cosy. It cld do with a little overhaul to freshen up the place, a little repaint and Italian pictures maybe replace some of the old stuff, however the food and service is irreplaceable. Well done Joe, you and yr staff are doing a wonderful job, and we will be back again!

This restaurant has been around for a long time...my wife and I used to go there a lot when we were dating and still studying at Auckland University...it's just a handy walk down the hill.

We always went back for the seafood bake dish, which is a delicious, and loved the gelato as well. Great atmosphere with genuine friendly service. The last time we were there was indeed a while ago...I took my wife there as a surprise on a recent wedding anniversary to re-live old times....and it hadn't lost any of its old charm or quality in the food...but maybe we were viewing it with rose-tinted glasses given the occasion....

I recommend trying it out if you feel like Italian, and especially if you like seafood.

A Little Italy is a great place and they treated my children like royalty.
The coffee was the best I have ever had and I have had coffee in the states which was the best I had ever had until I had theirs.
Lovely people and a great atmosphere.
A Little Italy - keep it going.

Be sure to book ahead of time as A Little Italy is a very busy and little restaurant, but well worth the visit. The food and service were fantastic! Great Chianti too!

A large group of us went to A Little Italy last week. It's fair to say we are all big eaters, so thought a visit to this Italian restaurant would leave us content. I opted for the lasagne and, not only was I impressed by the taste, but also the quantity. A Little Italy - great for hungry lads!
