Zap Thai 2 has so far been one of the more consistent Thai places around.

The place is simple with no fuss. Seating can be a little cramped, but we always somehow manage.

Food is good. The fried fish is done well and so are their curries. Not over-cloyingly sweet like some places. Pad thai's also pretty decent, although on my last visit was a tad too bland. Still good portions for the price you pay and lots of condiments.

Perfect if you're looking for a no-fuss place for a reasonable dinner.

I went to Zap 2 for dinner just recently on a Thursday night. Great place to have some good thai food with a nice easy going atmosphere and very reasonable prices for good-sized dishes. The staff were really efficient and we found a place easily even without booking in advance. The food came very promptly and I really enjoyed the tom yum soup and the roast duck curry. Will definitely go back again to try out more dishes!

Zap2 has the best Thai cuisine in Auckland, with great food at reasonable prices and warm service from its friendly staff. This Thai experience is one that should be shared with all.
