La Zeppa
This is the hottest place in town at the moment and a great edition to the area. Thank goodness La Zeppa actually has a decent wine list, yummy tapas and good looking patrons. The wines are well priced giving a good selection from $38+.

Soul Bar & Bistro
(Fish, New Zealand, Seafood)
Yes, it is a place for posers and overweight men doing business deals, but Soul Bar & Bistro’s wine list is impressive; the food is delicious; and oh—there’s that fabulous Viaduct Harbour view and it’s a suntrap on a fine day.

Tabac
(Pub Food)
An oldie, but a goodie. This place is a gem with a small but well selected wine list that places emphasis on the more well known varieties. Tabac’s environment is intimate and the service renowned in the Central Auckland scene.

The Vintry
The Vintry in Matakana is not just any place and we don't sell just any wine, but the wines are available in any quantity you could desire.

All the wine we sell is very specifically, and very proudly, grown in the Matakana geographical indication.

The Vintry is designed for informal, relaxing wine consumption and retail. Our bar is decorated with used barrel staves, and our tables are made of rough-sawn rimu beams sourced from an old shearing shed. The floor is concrete and we have a real wood fire to warm the space in the cooler months.

Winehot
(French)
A new and very welcome addition to the Kingsland fold. This French-style wine bar’s proposition is simple: to offer a great selection of boutique NZ & French wines and assiette’ (plate in French). The owner, Julien, certainly knows his stuff—and is happy to advise.
