10/10 Recently had my daughters 21st at the upstairs bar.
Everything was perfect, great food, awesome service, understanding to our needs and budget, nothing was a problem. We took over, moved the furntiure had three DJs, photobooth, brilliant. Thank you so much guys.

I have read previous comments and can tell you that the Asian women in the previous review no longer works there - new management.

Had an awesome 21st party at Upstairs Bar. The place looks great, I didn't even have to decorate. The staff are all very nice and helpful. They have mics and a projector available which made everything super easy, plus awesome catering if you need it. Definitely recommended.

I had a great night at Chicane for my 21st. It was awesome. The new owners and manager are quite friendly and helpful. They helped me a lot with the set up and offered me a big discount. The hirage is cheap compared to other venues.The cocktails are nice. It is the best venue for 21st in ponsonby. Will reconmmand to my friends.

Chicane is a great place to have your private function...cool place, friendly staff, even the new owner, they are awesome. I am looking forward to booking my next party at Chicane...

Chicane is a great place, no doubt!!
But the asian lady who is the manager there is two faced & unco-operative. She ruined my night. Make sure you get every single thing in writing or else she will change her mind.
