I would like to thank you for a great evening on Saturday we really enjoyed ourselves and it is a great venue which I will recommend to friends. Also wanted to give you some feedback. All your staff were great and very helpful a special mention is your security guard. I have had so many people tell me what a really nice chap you had on security and how helpful he was, everyone was very impressed with him.

My daughter recently held her 21st birthday here, she self catered utilizing her friends and family to make the food, she also provided her own music, but Jerry and his crew provided all the rest.
She had a lovely group of friends and family there and the Bar staff and security guards all did a very fine job of keeping everything on an even keel and ensured that there were no gate crashers to spoil her special night.
Thank you Jerry, your security guards and especially your bar staff did a wonderful job ensuring Hayley had a very special night. regards

We had a joint 30th party here in April- every one had a fantastic time.
Jerry and his staff are very helpful.
The venue is really great - our theme was an 1980s prom party.
The room we used was the larger room with just some simple decorations (Balloons and streamers) and a cheesy 80's themed back drop for photos.

I would definitely recommend the Winchester to any one wanting to throw an awesome private function. Lots of options and a great team.

Looks like we have some work to do. I want to see 5 stars overhead. When Komodo in Parnell closed its doors for good ( well it had to - the corner site there is being redeveloped and Komodos home is now just a pile of rubble.) Jerry and staff moved house to The Winchester in Newton where the team are still hosting affordable private functions. PS. 5 star functions !!!!! but you can be the judge of that.
