kudos to ganesh and the team at the Tasting Shed - your metro award is thoroughly deserved in my opinion. there's a lot to be said for great, uncomplicated food in a relaxed setting and I think you guys have really nailed it. Looking forward to the Tasting Shed appear even more prominently in industry awards for years to come.

your review of the tasting shed is spot on. I went there twice over the summer holiday break and was really impressed. its a cool spot and the food is awesome. with tasting shed and Hallertau and a few other places, Kumeu is going great guns

Hey Tasting Shed - everyone is saying - You have great food but way too expensive for the size portions. Someone I know spend $62 and still went away hungry. You want a Pinot Gris - $13 for the cheapest glass - this is above Viaduct prices. Great service and surroundings but if you don't do something about the menu - you won't last which is a real shame

fantastic snapper meal on my recent visit to the tasting shed. pan fried and the flavours were mouth watering. well done tasting shed - I'll be spreading the good word far and wide

The Tasting Shed is well worth the drive out to Kumeu for. Great selection of beer and a very rustic, interesting menu. The pork belly was terrific - only to be topped off by the churros...if only there was a tasting shed closer to home!
