The general consensus of these other use reviews is pretty spot on - the nations clubrooms is probably the best sports-themed bar in Auckland. What I really liked about my vist (during the weekend) was the fact that the staff members I talked to seemed to be genuine sports fans - that's quite a rarity.
Haven't been to the quiz night but a colleague reckons it's a good night out. Looking forward to catching the last All Blacks vs Ireland test at the Nation's Clubrooms - save some room for me!

Just back from the quiz night at the Nation's Clubrooms at Skycity and just had to say it's an awesome night out. It's a sports lovers wet-dream and the quiz night is a good junket to get the boys out there. Haven't been to many of SkyCity's bars before but based on the Nation's Clubrooms experience, reckon I'll be getting amongst!

There's a few good sports bars in Auckland but I think the Nation's Clubrooms is something else. Heaps of sports on the various tellies and booze is well priced. One of the cool things too is the food menu - if you're hungry a Chilli corn dog and ranch wedges are the g.o! Can't wait for the 4 nations to start up - I think the Nation's Clubrooms might be my second home.

thought I'd experience the RWC hype from the relative safety of skycitys new bar, the Nation's Clubrooms....turned out to be a very good choice. Steinlager bar (so it made the rugby experience a whole lot more authentic) and service was really very good for opening night. experiencing a few more rwc games at the nation's clubrooms over the coming weeks I think.

can't wait for the nation's clubrooms to open - it's the one thing skycity has been lacking - a darn good sports bar - lets hope the nation's clubrooms fit the bill!
