Their meatballs are to die for!! The best that I've tasted. Very friendly, helpful staff. I went with my daughter and we loved it and will most definitely be going back.

Went in for a few drinks with friends and ended up staying for dinner. Had the steak and was really impressed with value for money. Will definitely go back there again.

Had dinner with the wife on Friday.
The menu isn't over the top and had something for everyone
The nibbles section of the menu is good value
Beautiful garlic bread
I had the meat balls and oh my gosh tasty
I stole a bit of the squid from the wife and could have just as easily demolished that but getting stabbed with a fork put an end to that

Onto the mains

i went for the Pork Belly because well who doesn't like bacon?
The wife had the Rib eye steak

I was surprised at how big the meal was for the price
It was decent slab of crispy crackling goodness
with roasted veges as well!
normally i end up having to order veges separately

The steak was big!
the wife didn't finish it, so being the gentleman i scoffed that down
for her

Couldn't fit desert
was surprised to see Asahi and Tiger beer on tap
Great wines
Friendly service
we will be back for sure

Good, honest pub grub - it's a bit of a rarity in this part of town but The Gibson in Howick is worth seeking out. Not pricey at all and good setting...if you are in Howick then check The Gibson out.
