Great food, reasonably priced, excellent service.
Always good to watch the ABs here.......glass of wine, fire going, choice of TV screens!

I've been going to The Drake for over 3 years & it's a testament to it's continued appeal. Myself & my friends have never had a bad meal at The Drake & the service is top notch.

My partner and I visited The Drake last Sunday for a bite to eat and a chance to watch th AB's game as we've only got poor-mans TV at home! One of the few places open at that time (9am), the place was fairly full but not overflowing.


I have to say the food, although it did take an age to get to us was good, yet the coffees we ordered (taking 40 mins+) were not at all worth the wait. There was no real atmosphere (could be because of the game or the time of the day), however ,the service is my main gripe.

Your reviewer's assumption is right - The Drake goes off for after work drinks. Always really friendly staff and a nice, welcoming atmosphere.
