Carpark makes great food and also has a lot of room for dancing, great for shaking away those inhibitions! The outdoor area is a nice touch as well, if a little smoke-filled.
nice place to have drink and start off at on your saturday night. a bit small for dancing though.
Ended up at The Carpark last night - had been a few times before so didn't expect any suprises. Actually found it quite dull but we were there at closing so crowd was thinning out. Looking forward to going there earlier next time!
I visited The Carpark last week for their first birthday. My first time in there (I'm more a K'roader!)... amazing!
The Carpark was packed - good vibes, and a mix of old-fashioned and happy house music! I met some nice chicks who were very friendly...
awesome...I'll be back for sure!
Went there last night for drinks and great pizza - the best I have had in NZ ... must be a new chef! The Carpark is a hidden wonder in downtown Auckland ... friendly staff as well... and very reasonably priced.
I've been down to the Carpark bar, underneath the Downtown carpark (hence the name), a couple of times for friend's birthdays and had a good time each time. The bar is spacious, has a good selection of drinks on offer, and the staff were friendly.
The Carpark was quite neat, we all had a good time. Friendly bar staff. Very stylish, nice booths. Just a hint: don't order the garlic bread ... apart from that, we all had a great time and will be back. :)
Went to The Carpark bar last night for a few drinks before going home. Had heard a lot about it - all complimentary - and was pleased to say it lived up to those expectations
The Carpark Bar is quite stylish, with good music and the staff are friendly. It's also got a fairly good selection of vinos.
