The best thing about the basement is its different scene, and its a scene that is always changing too. I'm all for the general bar scene but its always cool heading upto basement for a play, or production of some sort. Its something different, alternative and refreshing. The last play I went to there was 'Bollocks', it was great. Everyone seems to be in a good mood there and there are great paintings in the toilets which adds a dimension! I don't get there as often as I like but its a definite favourite.
