Hello again... We do have other beers but unfortunately we are under contract so with a Brewery so we can only have one at a time. Our beer is beautiful the Dog Berry is magic !! New chefs, new owners, new beers it's all good stuff now forget all the previous stuff from other bloggers. We love fantastic food, service and beer just at much as you thats why we want to get it spot on...come try us !! Cheers !!!

Whilst the decor us pleasing and non offensive I did go in to get some local beer and for still claiming to be a brewery in the outside and having just 1 beer on tap that wasn't a db brand I was very dissapointed, Shakespeare Tavern is not a spot is hang out at regularly but not all bad

The Shakespeare Brewery & Hotel is under new management from the 1st of December 2011...New heart ....New Menu ......New Beer
We look forward to bringing this pubs burning desire to be returned to it's former glory, on steroids !!

The Shakespeare has become even worse now, they have stopped brewing the great beers there that were the only reason to visit, the crowd in the gambling den looks very nasty and the whole place is run down and dirty. Sad, another good boozer down the drain.
Used to meet up at Shakespeare Hotel & Brewery for a Friday lunch and pint. The food was average only at best and it has gotten so bad our group have now found another pub to go to for Friday lunch. Beer is nice but DO NOT EAT HERE.
