Don't know what you're on about hook - all the times I've partied at R'Totos I've had an awesome time....maybe you're past it mate? R'Totos has been a legendary Takapuna spot for ages - long may it continue!

In three words, rtotos has "had-its-day". The best thing management have done in recent times has been to put a surf boat on the roof. this has done nothing but open up further possibilities of shenanigans by getting nude and somehow finding your way into the boat. Hopefully you have enough time to do so as the bouncers will be more concerned with processing hundreds of fake id's to let in the future generation.

Rumour has it the band "club nerd" was outstanding back in the day and got the bar pumping. Dressed like clowns and doing more covers than the eden park groundstaff on a rainy boxing day one-dayer, they had the crowd pumping. where are they?? bring them back.

Ive had good nights in rtoto to be fair, when i was 17, but these days you either find a massive amount of 1st xv stars and hangers on, or the place is packed with tumbleweeds.

Havent tried the food. heard its not bad. Just bring back the festivities!
