We recently had dinner at Quarry Bar & Restaurant, following purchasing a voucher on one of the one-day websites. 6 of us had dinner and all agreed it was a sensational dining experience. Pleasantly surprised!The staff were very attentive, the wine list hit all the buttons and my Wife reckons she had the best Caesar Salad EVER!!!Surprised to see other's feedback on it this site. I too selected the Steak option with a side of pepper sauce, so did my Brother in Law, it was Great. Quarry Bar is certainly worth a punt. We will be back. Good on ya Quarry.
Terrible dining experience. Started with being told they had run out of eye fillet and T-bone steak, chose the scotch fillet with peppercorn sauce, problem was there was no sauce, just peppercorns, absolutely inedible. Save yourself 3 bucks and have no sauce.
The service was even worse, 20 mins with empty glasses on the table and an hour wait for our mains. All this with only about 10-15 people in the restaurant! some staff were friendly, others were not. when going to pay the woman simply stated the amount and took our money. No thank-you, no how was your dinner, Nothing.
We can see why this place is struggling on anything other than drinks on a Friday after work, disgraceful service and average food, if they have what you want.
We will definitely not be back
Met with a girlfriend for a drink after work on a Friday, vibe was great. They were busy, it was cosy and staff were hard working, but having a good time. Fire place is a really nice touch and bar snacks tasty! Am thinking about booking my 30th & Dad's 60th in the Gazebo...will keep you all posted!
Trying to hard to be modern and stylish. A barren and cold feel was all I got with the girlfriend. Just needs something to give a warmer feel. the food was however pretty good
I've been to Quarry a couple of times now. A mate had his 30th Birthday there and the place is great! I was very impressed with the staff, they were friendly and knew their products well. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different! Great atmosphere, warm fireplace for those cold nights. Meals are well presented and you can see the attention to detail in the quality of the meals. Top notch place! Love it!
Quarry Bar was Fantastic, go there every friday after work for a few drinks with a mate & it's super. Happy Hour is 4-6pm which is great plus they have raffles going, the courtyard outside the bar is great, sunshine galore!!!
Have also taken the girl there for dinner a few times & the food is great, don't know what those other people's reveiws are takling about because i know alot of people who eat at Quarry all the time & they reccommend the food to everyone, it's delicious & tasty & certainly not over priced. I imagine those people moaning about the food & the prices don't get out much & constantly moan about everything.

Disapointed. Went for Lunch and was WAY overpriced for what I ordered. I got the BLAT and was very basic and came in a roll. Which was like a rock. Hardly any bacon and the Avo was Brown. Could have had a bit of sauce on the BLAT too but didnt. Never once did they come around and asked for drinks - not even water. There was a large group of us and you would have thought they would want to get more money from us but obviously not.
Dont think I will ever go there again.
Went for dinner and was really disappointed. Very overpriced for what we had, even after using the entertainment voucher. Service was slack; did not come round to see if we wanted any more drinks so had to go up to the bar to reorder a beer. We waited for 10 mins after our mains arrived for the side order of chips which never arrived. Went up to the bar to enquire and were told they'd be 5 mins, so cancelled the order. The lamb was chewy and the majority of it was fat. After our mains, we were asked if wanted dessert and coffee and we said yes, but we waited a good 10 minutes and nobody came to take our order so got up and paid and left. I'm very thankful we didn't have to pay full price and was annoyed with what we had to pay as it was. Would not recommend this as a place to go even with the entertainment discount.
