I visited this bar in the viaduct kinda area of town in Auckland and i was pleasantly surprised to find Provedor. The bar is very modern and styley in decor, The bathroom was very clean and tidy ... There was a big TV playing sports ... And a big kinda outdoor setting with lots of tables and chairs, I went with a friend and he also was quite impressed .. the staff frequently came and cleaned the ashtray on the table, The beers were a good price and i myself ordered cocktails and they were a really great price .. i was expecting them to cost alot more ... The bar staff ( lady ) who served us was very chatty and friendly and welcoming and she definitely knew how to make an amazing cocktail or 3 .. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable and have great cocktail making skills, There is a really good atmosphere there and i definitely will be returning and i definitely 110% recommend everyone to go and visit and have a drink or 3 at Provedor ..

As a bar, Provedor is pretty good with usually good tunes and a relaxed vibe. The drink prices are also suprisingly good for this part of Auckland.
Had a few good nights at Provedor this year and can recommend highly!

I found this bar on my third last day in NZ. Don't you hate that, when you find the best bars too late in your holiday? So don't make the same mistake.

I got there in the middle of winter and stayed under the roof heaters out on the well protected front deck. Watching the sun go down over Auckland harbour, with the ferry terminal bustling, ferries arriving, and leaving all afternoon.

I too was drawn by the NZ$4 specials, of Heineken, basic spirits and draft beer and house wine glasses which runs daily from 3-7 pm and all night Thursday.

Hey check it out, if you find it's not for you move on to another, I on the other hand met locals and made some great friends and have taken home some great memories.

Will recommend to all my friends.

I went to Provedor last weekend for the first time. I was in around 6pm with a few of the girls after work..Man their Happy Hour specials were awesome. The atmosphere was really buzzing it was a hive of activity. I had such a great time I decided to stay longer. The staff were professional but fun and very friendly and helpful. I stayed until the wee hours. The music was great, the people were great. I'll definetly be going back

The Provedor has been give a new lease of life. Since a new manager has taken over and put his own personal touch on things the place has been buzzing. It was a good little bar before but now it is great. If you are looking for a quiet pint after work or a big night with the lads this pub can do it. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, great selection of bottles and tap beers... what more can I say?
