I was recently taken to Pontoon for lunch, by a business associate. I'd heard mixed reports about the service, but have to say I found it to be great.


They had a couple of delicious 'specials of the day'. My associate had the rack of lamb that was cooked to perfection. I had the salt and pepper squid which really was melt in the mouth stuff. Pontoon presented the food superbly; lots of little flourishes like burning the outside of the lime skin with a pattern.

We shared a delicious bottle of wine and finished off with one of the best flat whites I've had in a long time. I was impressed with Pontoon and am happy to sing their praises.
