The Next Door Café in Mt Eden has a great vibe with its eclectic setting. The mint green walls are decorated with a funky variety of hangings and table numbers are made out of old records. There was also an interesting variety of food and I enjoyed the new season asparagus risotto while my friends enjoyed the eggs benedict but found the hollandaise sauce a bit tasteless. The mochachino lacked strong coffee and needs more chocolate! Overall, we enjoyed our time there and the service was good and people friendly.

Had mothers day brunch at Next Door in Mt Eden today after trying in vain to get into both Circus Circus and Frasers.
Hadnt heard much about the place but in Next Door, you've got an uncomplicated brunch/cafe with great friendly service and a relaxed setting - so glad we didn't persist with the wait at the other Mt Eden eateries.
