Had a pub lunch at New Brew Tavern on Friday. Friendly staff and really generous helpings - have to pay New Brew a few more weekday visits.

Called in to The New Brew on Friday night, great place. Not too packed but enough to know it was worth checking out. Good sounding band, The Hit I think they were called. Bar service was quick enough, not too loud and outside under cover was good when I wanted a bit of a break. Nice to see live music on the North Shore.

The food was surprisingly good - popped in for lunch, was ominously quiet so wasn't expecting much but my chicken salad was very tasty indeed. Will be back for lunch again.

Had a great feed with the work crew one friday- top spot for beers too. cool outside area with shelter.

New Brew Tavern is the purrfect (hissss) home for all the wanna be's. Close to Prime TV; the perfect home for Paul and Al. Just like Ponsnobby, but in Albany.
