Had a group dinner there last friday night. The service was, as usual, very slow - about 60 mins to take the order and, from when we arrived, about 100mins for the mains to arrived

The food is quite basic - things like Sirloin which - one hopes - cant go wrong.. but the kitchen got all (8) steaks the wrong "texture" and they were generally quite tough.

Sadly the deserts - again - are of a similar standard: boring and badly executed. We had possibly the worst Tiramisu ever - it tasted neither of coffee or alchohol.

Also, its worth noting that during the day, the service is actually WORSE - the staff seem to wish they were on the beach across the road!

Stopped in at Moreton's for a couple of drinks on the weekend, and the atmosphere and great service convinced us to stay for dinner. Definitely recommended.

My partner and i with some friends went down to moreton's to enjoy a early dinner about 2 mounth's ago. But we were very disappointed by it. I had the Roast Chicken Breast which still had the wing attached and to my horror it was still pink and undercooked around the bone and almost burnt on the outside. My partner had a scotch fillet which was overdone. i believe if a place like this is going to survive they need to find chefs that know how to cook with out almost killing someone.

they used to have a really good brunches although expensive but nice. now the size shrunk, the same price and the quality way dow.
won't go back there for meals any more.
