ALWAYS GREAT FOOD!Cozy ambient, amazing customer service (Very japanese style) and incledible passion from the chef-owner. Please try the prawn & pork dish and the plum wine! Can't wait to come back to Ken Takitori!

This is a true Yakitori bar similar to what you find in Japan. It is always packed with Yakitori lover's so I recommend to book in advance. You can see Ken-san(owner) preparing Yakitori for you with his strong passion.

Ken Yakitori = LOVE. My favourite place to eat in Auckland and the best Ken Yakitori restaurant. They have the most variety in their menu, friendliest service and a great ambiance (check out the chainsaws on the ceiling, it's AWESOME)Make sure to get the miso and mayonaise to dip your complimentary lettuce and the fried baby prawns (pop the whole thing in your mouth - it's like eating yummy prawn chips) and beef tongue (sounds gross but once you can get over what you're eating you'll discover that tongue is one of the best cuts of beef) is a must. Best night out for a cozy date or a rowdy catch up, it's good for both. Try and book if you're able to it can get busy.

Kens Yakitori is a great casual style Japanese food restaurant. Cheap eats, noisy casual atmosphere and a great way to meander through the evening picking at yummy food and drinking sake. All sorts of different style Japanese food.
