Honey is a great location but the service is APPALLING. Cocktail lessons paid $55 each for in advance (16 people) and we arrived at 6.15pm (15 mins late) to find the following: cold bar, no music & filthy bathrooms, 1 staff frantically trying to set up bar and platters for 16 people. Music got turned on eventually but speakers were stuffed & crackly. Our cocktail lesson kicked off an hour late and there was no offer of a drink in between to keep us going until they were finally ready. The whole experience put a real downer on our night. We have not been able to make contact with Honey since then - they don't give a shit.

Three levels of coolness. The bottom floor is set out like an old persons lounge, the second a private area for functions (which is huge!) and the third floor is the rooftop function area, an open-air space which is perfect for 21sts and engagement parties. Honey can be at once intimate and personal as well as rowdy enough to get lost in the action. A very fun place in a very cool space.

Ive been to Moth and it was cool. Good music to have a dance to and some beautiful cocktails. I really want to have a look on the rooftop bar to see how that goes. Its a bit cold at the moment and there was a function on when we were there so didnt get the chance to have a look. Time will tell, if its good it could be a great place for a bday party!! Im waiting excitedly for warmer weather!

We had a party on the rooftop bar. It's a really great spot. However, the staff are not very helpful. On the night the bar manager refused to help us (he was extremelly rude) and small tasks were made to seem like a real hassle. As you need to decorate it yourself, they weren't flexible with times before or after to set up or pack down. Considering we spent over $2,000, there are better places in Auckland to spend your money.
