We have been to Fire & Ice a number of times now and have always found it excellent value, particularly with a voucher (of which they are always very accepting - don't make you feel like the "baggage class" diners which can be the case in other restaurants). The staff are super-friendly and bend over backwards to accommodate any (off the menu) request we have had. The food is excellent and the wine list has some very reasonable options available. Their platters are an ample meal in themselves for two and have a point of difference from your average platter. Great steaks and love their smoked venison. If you have room, try their Lime & Lemongrass Panna Cotta - it makes a superb end to a wonderful meal. It surprises me that it isn't busier, but I guess that's all good for us regulars!

GrabOne has vouchers for Fire & Ice in Ponsonby at the moment. Looking forward to using my voucher here soon!
