We went back to Deep Creek Brewer last week for a meal and a couple of beers. It was a lively atmosphere again, with good service and great food. The new menu is great and the beers are still awesome. The 309 is still my favorite.
I suggested Deep Creek Brewing Co for a visiting Australian colleagues dinner. There were 8 of us in total. Service was shocking! The group arrived and sat down – waited for ages- I called over the waitress who was standing at the bar chatting. She walked over and said “oh ... are you thirsty?” (random!) The food arrived ~ Amazing !!! When we had all finished the plates were left on the table for at least ½ an hour (if not longer). I would still recommend Deep Creek – just don’t expect the staff to wait on you !
Last night was my 2nd visit to Deep Creek Brewing Co. Their food was great on both occasions, except for my Angus Steak last night. I requested medium-rare and got med-well and burned on the outside, which left it tasting bitter. The waiter was also very confused, our plates were put on 3 different tables before it got to us - not good.
Popped Back to deep creek brewing, missed the band last time and just here for coffee during the day but nice place, good staff too. ALSO FREE WiFi, cool.
I visited Deep Creek Brewing Co for the first time on Friday night. The decor and location were fantastic. The band started up and I was having a great time. ( the band sounded ok but didn't know the words to many of the songs they sang which I found odd). I ordered a glass of the 309 which had an advertised alcohol content of 5.9%. I ended up having three glasses of beer which I thought was reasonable over several hours and had intended on driving home that night. I ended up so drunk that I was very sick and completely incapable of making conversation, let alone driving! A male companion I was with also had three of the beers and his wife was so worried about him that she considered calling an ambulance! This was no ordinary beer and the alcohol content has to be stronger than advertised. BEWARE is all I can say.
Great beers, great food, excellent service. Deep Creek Brewing Co is definitely worth a visit.
I will be back for sure
Went with another couple to the Deep Creek Brewing Company last Sunday evening for two platters, beers and wine. Ordered drinks from the bar, told them we were there for a meal, had to leave my credit card with the bar staff! There were about 6 people in the establishment and about 7 or 8 staff. After 20 minutes of nil service we went to the bar to advise that we were ready to order. Finished our first round of drinks, still no service (obviously no one noticed our glasses were empty), called out to the bar staff "same again". Meals arrived, nothing wrong with the food. Empty plates left on the table so asked one of the staff to remove them, told her the service wasn't great. Finished our second drink and surprise, surprise one of the staff noticed our empty glasses, came over and asked how was our meal. Told her fine but the service was non-existent. The four bar staff/waitresses seemed more interested in talking to each other than providing any service to us. Didn't seem to concern her, obviously not a shareholder. Will go back to Deep Creek Brewing Company for a beer, but not for a meal. P.S. wasn't impressed that they started to clean the place while we were still eating.
First time was great...so decided a few weeks later to go back again, service was terrible, in fact there was none, asked the guy behind counter if we could close the door as it was chilly wind blowing thru he ignored us, so we walked out..very disappointing as it was not overly busy or anything
