Three words - Mussel Mania Mondays! De Post Belgian Beer Cafe offers great wholesome pub grub, that will leave you rubbing your belly in the hopes you'll free up some space for dessert (Mmmm chocolate mousse......). Great atmosphere, fairly attentive staff. Make sure you sign up to their loyalty programme - very generous 10% rewards.

Had a great afternoon at De Post over the weekend. I'm a sucker for Belgian beer and to have it in buckets - an absolute bonus!
Fries are great too - De Post is one of Mt Eden's best!

We went to De Post Belgian Beer Cafe for dinner a few weeks ago - there was a large group of us sitting in the outside area. The waiter was helpful and advised us that due to the neighbours, we would need to have eaten and move inside by 10pm. I thought it was nice to be told before we got halfway through our meal!


The food was, as always, hearty and of good quality. I had the lamb shanks which are always good before a night of drinking! All of our meals came out together which is impressive considering there were ten of us.
