Always a good vibe at Bungalow 8 - nowhere near as pretentious as some of the newer bars downtown at the moment but good tunes and Bungalow 8 still attracts a pretty happening crowd.

Very spread out space, lots of room, though does get crowded on Saturday nights. The fish tanks are a highlight.

Always a good venue for a late night dance - Bungalow 8 is one of my favourite destinations in Auckland. Awesome cocktail list too...it also attracts a pretty cool crowd. I'll be a frequent visitor to Bungalow 8 this summer for sure!

I had a really nice night out at bungalow recently. It was great being able to sit in the out side part, it doesnt get to ho and if you sit in the right spot there are beautiful views of the water. The fish tanks offer something different and there are plenty of guys willing to buy drinks!!The music was cool and it wasnt too much of a squeeze to get to the bathroom.

Its been a little while but Ive been to this bar a few times now. Ive had a few great nights, but ive also been turned away a few times as there are "too many guys" inside. Bit of a bummer, just hope they are not mistaking me for someone with average dance moves. I once saw the fish in the bowl on the bar consumed by some guy, great laugh.

Do not go to this place during school holidays unless you like being surrounded by 18year olds. We should have known when the bouncer asked for ID on the door that we were heading into some kind of youngster hell. Great bar, takes a little too long to get a drink though. May be Bungalow 8 isn't so young outside of school holidays but I think I'm too scared to give it another chance. Stick to this place if you're under 23.

I visited Bungalow 8 a few weeks ago with some friends and we had a blast. The place was filled with people, all having a good time. The music was fantastic, the staff were on form and the atmosphere was perfect for a great night out in the city! I have encouraged lots of people to go there if they havent done so already.

Bungalow 8 is totally gorgeous, the staff are lovely, the DJ is awesome and meeting Richard Branson there was amazing - the only bars Ive been to that match this place were sadly in New York!

I've been to Bungalow 8 a few times now. Good spot for the end of the night (i.e. don't turn up too early) and really love what they've done to the place. In saying that, after a few tequilas, the massive fish tanks can be a bit trippy.
